La Fauvette

Located in the Seine-Saint-Denis area east of Paris, in the district of Neuilly-Plaisance. Built in 1899 as a reunion hall for the Syndicat des Proprietaires d'Avon. It has operated as the Fauvette cinema since 2002, and is now owned by the local authority. It has been restored, with the original façade still looking like it did when built. The auditorium has some trompe-l'oeil paintings by an artist named Mr. Montagnana, depicting audience members sitting in boxes, and painted curtains over fake exits on each side of the proscenium.
