The Outsider (Hungarian: Szabadgyalog) is a 1981 Hungarian drama film directed by Béla Tarr, starring András Szabó and Jolán Fodor. It tells the story of a talented but irresponsible violinist who ruins his marriage with his drinking and antisocial behaviour.
