Nouvelle Vague

Nouvelle Vague is a 2025 comedy-drama film directed by Richard Linklater. Starring Guillaume Marbeck as Jean-Luc Godard, Zoey Deutch as Jean Seberg, and Aubry Dullin as Jean-Paul Belmondo, it follows the shooting of Breathless, one of the first feature films of the Nouvelle Vague era of French cinema, in 1959. The film had its world premiere at the main competition of the 2025 Cannes Film Festival on 17 May 2025. It will be theatrically released in France by ARP Sélection on 8 October 2025, and later will be released in select theaters in the United States on 31 October 2025, before streaming on Netflix on 14 November.
