Evening Land (Aftenlandet in danish) is a 1977 Danish drama written and directed by Peter Watkins. The story is told in a documentary style, depicting a nine day long fictional event where the Danish police track down a group of radical demonstrators who have kidnapped a government minister to support a strike at the Copenhagen Shipyard.
