DC is a 2026 Indian Tamil-language romantic action thriller film directed by Arun Matheswaran and produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures. The film stars Lokesh Kanagaraj, Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy. It marks Lokesh's debut as a lead actor, and is loosely adapted from Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel Devdas (1917). The film was officially announced in November 2025. Principal photography commenced a month before the official announcement in Chennai and wrapped in April 2026. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Mukesh G and editing by Prasanna GK. DC was released worldwide on 7 August 2026 in theatres to positive reviews from critics praised its stylish action, technical brilliance, and Lokesh Kanagaraj's acting debut, but noted a weak emotional core and uneven screenplay.
